The slow but steady “repatriation” of manufacturing jobs from China to the United States continues.
The single biggest example of this occurred a couple of weeks ago, when the Chinese company that has owned Volvo for five years announced it would build a $500 million vehicle assembly plant in South Carolina, creating up to 4,000 jobs.
