An opening reception for the Roark Studio Group Art Exhibit will be held Sunday, Jan. 22, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., in the Charleston Arts Center (the CARE building).
The public is invited to view the artwork of Carol Roark, as well as that of some of her adult students, and to visit with the artists.
Widely known for her equine-themed art, as well as her creative use of the elements of light and color in her work, Roark also has a reputation for beautiful landscapes.
In fact, her website, carolroark.com, describes her as an artist "Specializing in the Southern Landscape."
The public is invited to the reception. Admission is free.
