October at TGH was a month full of activities for our residents and facility!
Our residents enjoyed Spring Hill Baptist Church for coming out every Tuesday night for community bingo. Community bingo is an opportunity for our residents to interact with the community and share some good laughs and games.
October would not be complete without our Halloween trick-or-treat. Our residents were treated with our local pre-K and two local nurseries coming into the facility to trick-or-treat our residents.
The facility was decked out with spooky decorations and we had plenty of candy to give. Residents played a part in dressing up as witches and vampires! Each child brought so many smiles to these residents as they got to enjoy the spirit of Halloween with the little ones! We want to thank all of them for coming out and participating with our residents.
Extended Care Facility activities would also like to give a very special and heartfelt thank you to the trust of Veterans of Foreign Wars. This special group each year have been so kind to donate to our residents and to our program. We take this donation and use it toward the wants and needs of our residents. Without people like them, we would not be able to do all we do for our residents.
We cannot wait to share what all we do for the month of November. Please come by and see us soon!
