Webb municipal officials for the July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2029, term were sworn in Monday afternoon in the courtroom of the Tallahatchie County Courthouse in Sumner.
Tallahatchie County Second Judicial District Justice Court Judge Denise Washington-Lockett performed the brief ceremony.
Three incumbents, Ward 1 Alderwoman Hilary Benson, Ward 2 Alderwoman Maggie Outlaw and Ward 4 Alderwoman Betty J. Powell, recited the oath of office again.
A pair of new members of the Webb Board of Aldermen, Skyler Pickett in Ward 3 and Willie J. Garner in Ward 5, also took the oath.
Mayor-elect Mary Tucker Croft will assume the post she previously held for one-and-a-half terms from 2005 until 2011.
