Posting a perfect 8-0 record, John Page of Charleston won a tiebreaker faceoff to claim the $35 cash prize during Week 3 of The Sun-Sentinel’s 2026 Football Fever Contest.
Page was one of three players with an unblemished slate of picks — the first of the contest period. (Two previous winners had been 7-1 and 6-2.) Page was 11 points off on the tiebreaker game score while Henry Collier of Webb missed by 12 points and Jimmie Johnson of Charleston by 14 points.
At 7-1 were Billy Ray, Randy Wilson, Tim Buckley, Walker Sturdivant, Reagan Pitts, Shay Ely, Gary Dyksterhouse, Harvey Smith, Glenda Hodges, Jennifer Wigley, Dianne Ellett, Doyle Ellett, Wilma Weston, Marie Taylor, Raymond Hardy and Keljwan Edwards.
Standing at 6-2 were Sue Jennings, Week 2 winner Patrick Taylor, Reed Madden, Gyrone Kenniel, LaDerrick Hodges, Marila Wall, Neal Creasy, Larry Smith, Roberta Redd, L.Q. Weston, Bubba Burnham, Bobby Reed, Alma Reed, Lester Brooks, Kenny Drane, John Clark, James Lake and Joseph Cox.
Finishing at 5-3 were Rick Thomas, Bud Smith, Denman Fly, Josh Sanders, Ray Plez, Crump Britt, Ginger Burnham, Nash Tribble, Joe Taylor, Chante Murry and Tim Wright.
Breaking even at 4-4 were Andrew Tenner, Mike Sturdivant III, Beverly Drane, Willie Wilkins and Kathy Estes.
At 3-5, Betty Lewis and River Wilson posted the “Worst Picks of the Week.”
