The staff of the Tallahatchie County Library System would like to welcome members of the community to “Pop In” to the Charleston Library on Thursday, Sept. 12, for their annual Snapshot Day.
Snapshot Day can best be described as a “day in the life of your local library” and is an opportunity for local libraries to share the numerous services and programs that they offer to their residents.
“The Charleston Library is very proud of the services that we provide for Tallahatchie County,” shared Angela Etheridge, library director. “We recently completed our Summer Reading Program for children and will be starting sewing classes for adults in the near future.”
Popcorn, juice and other items will be given away between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. during Snapshot Day 2024. Library staff will be available to answer questions regarding library services and to assist patrons with obtaining a library card.
“We encourage everyone to ‘Pop In’ on September 12th to see our Library,” added Etheridge.
