SUMNER — The John Deere farm equipment dealership in Tallahatchie County, owned and operated by Greenwood-based WADE Inc., recently relocated all of its local operations from a longtime location in Webb to a new facility at 12990 U.S. Highway 49 E. in Sumner.
On March 19, the Sumner store held an open house/grand opening event and welcomed members of the community.
WADE Incorporated was started in 1909 in Greenwood and has expanded to 14 locations, serving in Tallahatchie County since 2000.
"Our new facility is 17,000 square feet and has the ability to accommodate the new larger equipment," said Sean Stubbs, general manager of WADE's Sumner location.
Stubbs said WADE's service department services all equipment ranging from turf to all large agricultural equipment.
"We have the largest connected parts warehouse in WADE Inc.," Stubbs noted. "We offer parts for all brands of ag equipment with our 'Right Part at the Right Price' portfolio."
In addition to selling John Deere, the store also offers Stihl handheld equipment.
"WADE Inc. is excited to be in our new facility here in Sumner and are eager to continue to serve our growers and turf customers in Tallahatchie County for years to come," concluded Stubbs.
