Midway Market & Deli, located on Highway 32 east of Charleston, celebrated its grand reopening Friday, June 13, just shy of a year after the popular country convenience store was destroyed in an early-morning fire.
Free hamburgers, hot dogs and other foods were available for the taking during the reopening.
In addition, a limited number of complimentary $10 Marathon fuel cards were distributed.
The new, modern facilities feature a 3,000-square-foot store building and Marathon gas pumps.
The fire that destroyed the former building occurred on July 1, 2024.
