OXFORD – A Nicaraguan national, unlawfully in the United States, pled guilty in front of United States District Court Judge Michael P. Mills to the illegal possession of a firearm on Thursday, Aug. 28. Sentencing will be held at a later date and the defendant faces a statutory maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
