Lookin' more like fall, y'all
Local artist Kristie Hartley of Tillatoba paints a fall pumpkin scene on the front door of The Flower Basket and Gifts boutique on South Court Square in Charleston on Friday, Sept. 26. Many businesses are sprucing up their storefronts in honor of autumn. Some of the activity is motivated by the chance to win a first-, second- or third-place trophy in this year’s Charleston Gateway to the Delta Festival Decorating Contest. The competition will help beautify the Court Square for the Oct. 18 Gateway to the Delta Festival.
