SUMNER — The stage was being set to turn back the calendar to 1955.
Antique automobiles of the period started rolling into Sumner Friday for staging of film scenes for the upcoming ABC miniseries, "Women of the Movement."

Most of the roughly two-dozen automobiles were delivered by auto transport trailer.
Braxton Wright, the son of James and Cynthia Wright of Sumner, was among the locals permitted to explore some of the cars and trucks on the Sumner Square.
Wright, the nephew of Tallahatchie County Deputy Circuit Clerk Beronica Jones, was accompanied on his impromptu "tour" by a member of the film crew, Jones said in an email to The Sun-Sentinel.
Filming in Sumner was to begin Saturday, with shots of the town square and the inside of the Tallahatchie County Courthouse scheduled.
