Another big U.S. election has come and gone and our unique two-party system is alive and well.
I love elections. Democracy is beautiful. I thank God we live in a free country. Three-quarters of the world population lives in countries with autocracies and no real democracy.

JACKSON — The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce (MDAC) is now accepting opt-out forms from Mississippi grain producers who choose not to participate in the newly established Mississippi Grain Indemnity Trust Fund (MGITF). Producers wishing to opt out of the program must submit the required form to MDAC by March 1, 2027.
