The COVID-19 death count for Tallahatchie County rose to 26 on Friday, Oct. 23, as one more local victim was reported by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
In figures released Thursday, Oct. 29, MDHS indicated 858 Tallahatchians have tested positive for the virus since the first local person tested positive in late March.
