With a 6-2 record, Patrick Taylor of Grenada won a tiebreaker showdown to claim the $35 cash prize during Week 2 of The Sun-Sentinel’s 2026 Football Fever Contest.
Five others at 6-2, in order of their tiebreaker finish, were Bobby Reed, Shay Ely, Roberta Redd, Kenny Drane and Kathy Estes.
Placing 5-3 were Linda Ellett, Doyle Ellett, L.Q. Weston, Alma Reed, Rick Thomas, Raymond Hardy, Crump Britt, Reagan Pitts, Josh Sanders, Ray Plez, Walker Sturdivant, Gary Dyksterhouse, Bubba Burnham, and Mike Sturdivant III.
Breaking even at 4-4 were Week 1 winner Lester Brooks, James Lake, Jimmie Johnson, Andrew Tenner, Billy Ray, Reed Madden, Joe Taylor, Glenda Hodges, Seth Ross, Denman Fly, Willie Wilkins, Marila Wall, Neal Creasy, Ginger Burnham, Beverly Drane and Gyrone Kenniel.
At 3-5 were Sue Jennings, Henry Collier, Jennifer Wigley, Laderrick Hodges, Joseph Cox, Marie Taylor, Wilma Weston and Ruth Byars.
At 2-6, Harvey Smith and Larry Smith share the honor of “Worst Picks of the Week.”
