Appeals court upholds life without parole sentence in 1999 murder

The Mississippi Court of Appeals on Tuesday (March 7) ruled that a man convicted in a 1999 capital murder case in Tallahatchie County will continue to serve life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Langford, 55, of Jackson, has been selling her artwork since she was in her twenties. It has been her only source of income for the last 13 years.
