The Sovereign Roses Virtual Alumni Chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority Inc. recently hosted a lemonade stand fundraiser.
The event, held Saturday, Sept. 6, at the former National Guard armory in Webb, was to benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, the largest independent childhood cancer charity in the United States.
The foundation focuses on funding critical research, raising awareness, supporting childhood cancer families and empowering everyone to help cure pediatric cancer.
