STRIDER — Since it is late July and the temperature is pushing 100 with a heat index even higher, it must be time for the MAIS softball season to begin.
The Strider Academy Lady Rams will get their season going this Friday with a home game against the Calhoun Academy Lady Cougars at 5 p.m. on the Strider campus.
