CHS girls repeat as state track champs

The Charleston High School Lady Tigers have done it again, winning the Class 2A State Track and Field Championships for a second consecutive season.
It is the first time the CHS ladies have won a state track title in back-to-back years since doing so in 2012 and 2013, when the school competed in Class 3A.

Prince drafted by Jaguars

Charleston's DeAntre Prince has been snagged by the Jacksonville Jaguars on day three of the 2024 NFL draft.

He was a fifth-round selection, pick number 153 overall. There were a total of 257 spots.

The televised announcement from the NFL draft stage in Detroit was made at 1:54 p.m. local time.

CHS girls finish third at state powerlifting meet
