Walker Sturdivant of Greenwood compiled an 8-0 record and slid by another contestant to win the $30 cash prize during Week 2 of The Sun-Sentinel’s 2024 Football Fever Contest.
Sturdivant edged fellow 8-0 finisher Shay Ely of Glendora.
Raymond Hardy of Charleston was another 8-0 finisher.
At 7-1 were Alma Reed, L.Q. Weston, Bobby Reed, Robert Morrow, Crump Britt, Ray Plez, Neal Creasy, Mike Sturdivant III, Gary Dyksterhouse, Week 1 winner Collin Cuykendall, Gyrone Kenniel, Reed Madden and Andrew Tenner.
Standing at 6-2 were Harvey Smith, Kathy Estes, Jennifer Wigley, John Clark, Joshua Sanders, Melissa Hite, Joseph Lindley, Sue Jennings, Patrick Taylor and Charles Gleghorn.
