Five members of the 2019 Charleston High School Tigers’ varsity football team have been named to the Mississippi Association of Coaches All-State teams.
Honorees for all six public school classifications were announced on Monday.
In Class 2A, from Charleston High School, which finished the regular season 10-5 and as runner-up for both the region and north half championships, the honorees include:
First team offense
» Brandon Smith, senior offensive lineman
» Dontavius Cashaw, junior offensive lineman
Second team offense
» Willie Foster, senior offensive lineman
First team defense
» Alfernee Hankins, senior defensive lineman
Second team defense
» Jamar Taylor, senior linebacker
