Spaghetti on menu for fundraiser
First Baptist Church of Charleston will conduct a Rotel chicken spaghetti fundraiser for the benefit of Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child Sunday, July 27, from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
Each $15 plate will include Rotel chicken spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and tea.

St. Luke celebrates homecoming
St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church of Tippo will be celebrating its annual homecoming program on Sunday, July 27, at 2 p.m. The speaker for the occasion will be Rev. Coya Blackburn, pastor of Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Enid. Everyone is welcome to attend this service, and dinner will be served, according to pastor J.H. Brown.
Massey Grove revival announced
Massey Grove church of Oakland, where Tyrone Edwards is pastor, will conduct three nights of revival from Sunday, July 27, through Tuesday, July 29.
On Sunday, the service will begin at 6 p.m. and the speaker will be pastor Gregory Henderson of Roseville, Tennessee.
Monday and Tuesday night services will start at 7. Rev. Tommy Rucker of Hollywood will speak on July 28, while Rev. Darryl Booker of Charleston will speak July 29.

Calvary Food Chapel, at 36 Ward-Riddick Road, just east of Parchman off Highway 32, will distribute food 7:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, for those living in the West Tallahatchie area and in Sunflower County outside the city limits of Drew (which has its own pantry). Food pantry distribution day is now the next-to-last Saturday of each month.

GriefShare offers grief support
GriefShare, a grief recovery support group, is conducting regular meetings each Thursday, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., through Aug. 28.
Weekly sessions are being held at Friendship East Baptist Church, located at 3722 Friendship East Road, Charleston.
GriefShare is a video series that features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a biblical perspective. The video seminars are combined with a small group discussion of the materials presented during the video.
The 13-week sessions include topics such as “Is This Normal?”, “The Challenges of Grief,” “Grief and Your Relationships,” “Why?”, “Guilt and Anger,” and more.
