The Mississippi State Department of Health on Wednesday, May 27, reported 313 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 18 new deaths.

One new confirmed case was reported in Tallahatchie County, bringing the total to 25 people, with 1 death.

A total of 376 Mississippians are in the hospital for treatment due to COVID-19.
