Tigers win 3A North State championship

The Charleston High School Tigers are Class 3A North State champions for a second consecutive year and for the fourth time in the five straight years that they have played in the north half game.

CHS (13-2) earned the title by steamrolling their way past the Aberdeen Bulldogs 37-6 at Tiger Stadium Friday night.

Charleston Elementary donates Christmas items

CHS Tigers off to state ... again!

All roads lead to Oxford for Saturday’s Class 3A state championship football game pitting the Tigers of Charleston High School against the Tigers of Collins High School in a rematch of last year’s title tilt.

Collins won that hard-fought 2014 contest in overtime by a score of 28-20.

CHS Tigers to meet familiar foe for North Half

The Charleston High School Tigers (12-2) will play for the Class 3A North Mississippi football championship Friday night for a fifth straight year.

They are 4-1 in those games, having won in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015. The Tigers won a state title in 2011.
