The Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility has announced its sponsorship of the Sumner Rotary Club’s annual spaghetti supper fundraiser.
Sumner Rotary Club President Shirlaurence Fair said the Tutwiler prison’s sponsorship was revealed at a recent monthly community luncheon held at the facility.
The spaghetti supper fundraiser, set for Thursday, April 24, at Da Spot, 214 S. Cherokee St. in Webb, will also feature a cake walk and bingo. The cost is $10 per plate for adults and children 12 and over, and $5 per plate for children under the age of 12.
The public is invited, and tickets are available for purchase from any Sumner Rotarian or at the door on the night of the event.
Fair added that "a portion of the proceeds go to support West Tallahatchie youth leadership."
