A reorganizational meeting for the long inactive Teasdale Neighborhood Watch organization will be held Thursday night at 7 at the Teasdale firehouse.
Community resident David Hill, who is spearheading the effort to reconstitute the watch group in response to heightened criminal activity in the area, said anyone may attend and offer input.
“Anybody with ideas is invited to bring them on,” he said.
Hill said light snacks, in the form of hot dogs, potato chips and drinks, will be available for those attending.
In a Sept. 10 post on his Facebook page, Hill noted, "I’m growing very weary of the theft occurring at various houses and farms. I don’t know if this is the answer but we’ve got to do something! Everyone is invited!"

The origins of the Teasdale Neighborhood Watch may be traced to the mid-1990s, when a group of residents organized the crime-fighting entity.
Regular monthly meetings were conducted and watch patrols were formed. At its height, dozens of community residents were actively engaged in the effort.
