The Tallahatchie General Hospital Auxiliary and CARE (the Charleston Arts and Revitalization Effort) will partner to collect donations this holiday season for the residents of the Extended Care Facility in Charleston.
Items requested for donation include shampoo, body wash, socks, razors, hand lotion, large print puzzle books, coloring books, jumbo crayons, deodorant and Polident (a brand of denture appliance cleaner).
Items are needed for male and female residents and may be dropped off at the CARE building (Charleston Arts Center) until Dec. 8.
The TGH Auxiliary has been in existence for over 30 years and works to support the residents of the TGH Extended Care Facility.
The group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. in the training room at TGH. Members of the community are welcome to attend monthly meetings and also to join the TGH Auxiliary.
