Diane Dukes, grandmother to Junior Dukes, says she knows there will be some celebrating going on at the Dukes home May 22 for his birthday.
“This week went by so fast, I still am lagging in the past,” said Martha Box. She said homecoming at Willow Springs Assembly of God Sunday featured Bro. Tommy giving an exceptional history of the church from start until now, following that with the Word and our need of salvation. Dave Box and Nick Snyder singing “sure stirred up the Spirit in us all,” Martha added. She said it was a great service followed by a wonderful meal and noted it was so good to see “friends, cousins and loves” have a great time.
Debbie McCool sad she and Tommy have been staying home the last couple of weekends and are getting to see lots of pictures of their beautiful great-granddaughter, Lily, that mother Allison and grandmother Angela Dukes have put on Facebook. Angela went last Sunday and stayed for a week. She was there for the birth and a few days afterward at Allison’s house before coming home and going back to work Monday. Angela, I know how hard it must have been for you to leave that precious granddaughter. I imagine a few tears were shed on your way back home.

Thought for the day: I don’t know why we have to give money to countries who hate us. They should be able to hate us for free.
