In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Tippo community will host their second annual community 2-mile walk honoring survivors and other victims, on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9-10 a.m. near the post office. Guest speaker will be Brenda Walton-Willis, president of the local Rally for a Cure board.
Participants are asked to wear shades of pink, and donations will be accepted. All proceeds from the event will benefit the local Rally for a Cure organization, which provides assistance to Tallahatchians with cancer.
