If you owe delinquent municipal court fines to the city of Charleston, Police Chief Kirby Griffin has one message for you: Pay up or the police may be coming for you.
“This is a period of time for people to come in and pay their back fines as soon as possible,” the chief said Monday. “Soon, we will start picking people up.”
