This coming Monday, April 1, is the deadline for homeowners to file an application for homestead exemption, according to Tallahatchie County Tax Assessor-Collector Dorothy Martin.
Homestead exemption, a tax provision that must be applied for, reduces property taxes on a person’s primary residence.
