Tutwiler hosts Christmas parade

TUTWILER — The annual Christmas parade was held here Friday night.

There was a chill in the air, but weather conditions were dry. Event organizers managed to squeeze the parade in between periods of rain that fell Thursday and were forecast to appear again Saturday.

The Charleston Christmas parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17. Lineup is 4 p.m. and the parade gets underway at 5. (The Charleston parade originally was scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3, but due to a rainy forecast it was rescheduled to Thursday, Dec. 15. The Sun-Sentinel learned Monday (Dec. 12) that due to school event conflicts, the parade was rescheduled again for Dec. 17.)

More images from the Tutwiler Christmas parade will be posted in the Dec. 15 edition of The Sun-Sentinel and online.
