Local trail ride group, the P.T.B. TrailRunners, hosted a “kids camouflage playout” event on Saturday, Sept. 5, in honor of cancer awareness.
The organization, led by co-CEOs James Madden of Batesville and Acquedius Smith of Charleston, desired to highlight cancer awareness by giving local community children a fun day to get out and enjoy festivities like swimming, water slides, water balloons, etc., while enjoying plenty of food and music and learning about all types of cancers.
The colors for the event were purple and turquoise.
Organizers expressed appreciation to sponsors J Brown Community Funeral Services, Sheila’s Vinyl Designs and all other donors.
