While the Lady Choctaws track program has previously won three track and field state championships, including back-to-back state titles in 1997 and 1998, and another in 2001 — all in Class 2A — the West Tally boys have never won a team state title in the sport.
In 2025, the Choctaws finished in third place at state among 33 boys squads scoring there — their highest rank in recent memory. The Lady Choctaws were scored in 21st place.
