Dolos "Val" King passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Val grew up on a farm with her beloved parents and four brothers. Over the years, many memorable family gatherings took place at the farm, with delicious home-cooked meals, walks in the woods, and storytelling and laughter on the front porch.

Billy Mack Nunn
Billy Nunn, 85, of McCool, Mississippi, a proud Vietnam Veteran, devoted family man, and a skilled Boilermaker/Welder for 45 years, passed away at his home on May 24, 2026.
His kind heart, gentle love, cantankerous spirit, and sweet nature will have a long-lasting impact on all of those who knew him. He served his country with courage and honor in the US Navy from 1960-1966.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko, with visitation from 10:00–11:00 a.m. Burial followed at Parkway Cemetery.
Rob is survived by his wife, Nona Lee Staten; sister Angie Pearson Braswell; niece Madison Cummins; nephew Drayton Spell (Sarah); cousin Kerry Ray (Stefanie); aunt Sherry Wooten (Mike); and best friend Sherri Murphy Jacobs (Jay).
