Warm and pleasant greetings to all. We hope you are enjoying a good week.
Signs of springtime seem to always come a few days before the calendar date. The swallow birds start building up their nests inside the carport. These mud bowl nests are mixed with grass and lined with feathers to finish the art. Unless the ongoing nest is destroyed, you wait and watch the daily activity, little birdies come, they fly away and then the cleanup is difficult.
You can always look up high in the sky into the deciduous trees shadowed with mistletoe. The fruit trees and others alike blossom with pink and white blooms.
Now, the first day of spring comes and it doesn’t feel quite like spring, as the day started with cooler to cold temperatures. Spring, however, is as beautiful as all the other seasons. Let’s embrace it with new life and new beauty, as spring always brings out the best in everyone! Here’s wishing you a nice spring!

Residents who received a complimentary copy of The Phone Book with last week’s edition of The Sun-Sentinel appreciate it. The colorful cover and large print make the book nicer and useful.

The saying, “You’re never too old to learn,” is a familiar statement.
There comes a time when you simply cannot do some things you once did (you don’t have to or need to do), and gardening and mowing the lawn are two of those things.
I didn’t realize it would be so painful for a certain party, to give in to gardening and ole faithful John Deere! I believe he knows now, he simply cannot operate a tiller or lawn mower. Feeling good watching is enough energy and a blessing! Your kindness of sharing makes your garden grow, as you know. For the last few years, gardening has been off limits for Taylor.
However, the times he tarried in the garden were joyful. No longer can we till the soil, but we can still sing “In The Garden,” all three verses, and repeat the refrain over and over.
That’s good for anyone. If you don’t sing, just read the verses for meditation.
Happy gardening to all the garden lovers. You got this!
Enjoy life today. Be blessed.
