Charleston High School athletes won gold medals in two relay events, silver in four events and bronze in five events during Monday’s (May 12) Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 2A Track and Field State Championships at the Woody Barnett Track and Field Complex at Pearl High School.
In team rankings, both the CHS girls and boys placed third overall.
The Lady Tigers had won back-to-back state titles in 2023 and 2024.
The CHS boys were third in 2024 and fifth in 2023.
Having won both 2A South State championships, St. Andrew’s Episcopal School of Ridgeland closed the season with a sweep at state.
