We have had a lot of fun kicking off our summer months here at Tallahatchie General Hospital Extended Care Facility!
We want to thank Mr. Steve McGregory and his wife, Linda McGregory, for coming out and sharing their talent of music with our residents. They sang and played many songs that our residents loved! Nothing is more enjoyable than seeing residents come alive to the sound of music.
Father’s Day was celebrated by our residents enjoying Domino’s pizza and their favorite game, bingo, along with a Father’s Day program put on by our certified nursing assistants!
We wanted to celebrate all our fathers and father figures here at TGH! We had the halls filled with family and friends coming to celebrate them as well on such a special day.
Another fun thing we celebrated was our CNA Appreciation Week! The overall theme for the 2024 CNA week was, “We’ll be there for you.” This phrase could not be truer for our TGH CNA’s when it comes to their compassion and dedication to care for our residents.
They enjoyed spending time dressing up for each day’s theme along with fun snacks and just a week of appreciation for all they do for our residents. They are the heartbeat of our facility and I know residents and their families appreciate all they do to give such high-quality care day in and day out. Thank you to all CNA’s, we appreciate you!
