Summer is here and we are trying to do all we can to stay cool over here at Tallahatchie General Hospital Extended Care Facility.
We found ourselves with a few cooler mornings where residents were able to go outside and enjoy some fresh air along with some music of their choice! We love watching our residents show off their music taste and dance moves. We even had some of our activity personnel get up and show off their moves with residents.
This is a time that we can all let loose and just enjoy each other’s company.
Our therapy department has been harvesting vegetables from our garden. Residents love to see all their hard work paying off with our beautiful courtyard garden!
We want to give a shoutout to Faith Baptist Church of Lambert for reaching out and beginning to offer B Wing residents a weekly devotional. Our A Wing residents continue to enjoy devotionals from Trinity Holiness Church and Poplar Springs Church.
I can confidently say that our facility would not be what it is to our residents without those in the community.
