A new scam claiming to involve the local sheriff's office is making the rounds in Tallahatchie County, Sheriff Jimmy Fly said Friday evening.
He said his office has learned that residents are receiving robo calls in which the caller mentions back fines and seeks personal information to help resolve the matter.
