TUTWILER — Robert L. Grayson, who was the first Black person to hold the position of mayor here, is remembered as a trailblazer.
Funeral services for Mr. Grayson, 81, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, at G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, were Saturday, Sept. 17, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksdale.
