Thanksgiving is a time when our thoughts turn to holiday meals that include many favorites like turkey with dressing, sweet potato pie and other unique dishes special to each family.
At ECF, we are fortunate to still experience that special meal through the dedication of our dietary department. But we will also have residents who get to go home and share that family meal, or have a wonderful plate of family favorites brought straight to them.
This holiday begins with a word that the ECF community of senior citizens knows well.
They are thankful for family members who come for a visit, some from far away. They are thankful for friends who remember them on holidays and come to share time with them.
Our residents are thankful for the many organizations and individuals who give and support a variety of programs and events.
Our residents love Sunday school and church. They are so thankful to the community churches for providing this blessing to them weekly.
Our residents are thankful and enjoy the relationship they have developed with each other and staff from all departments that enhance and make their day warm and supporting.
Being thankful to God for protecting them through many bouts with COVID and unexpected illness takes a high priority, for we have trusted in His love for them.
We wish for all of you a thankful day, much like the residents at Extended Care Facility will experience.
