Face masks will be given away Friday in Webb and Saturday in Tutwiler, state Sen. Sarita Simmons of Cleveland announced Monday.
Simmons, a Democrat representing District 13, is cosponsoring the giveaways with mayors of both municipalities, she explained. A limited number of masks will be available at each location.
Webb Town Hall, 159 S. Laura St., will be the setting for the Friday Webb distribution. Masks will be available from 9 a.m. until supplies are exhausted. Mayor Tracy Mims is cosponsoring the event.
Tutwiler City Hall, 221 Tallahatchie Ave., is the location for the Saturday Tutwiler mask handouts, which begin at 10 a.m. Simmons said food in the form of produce also will be given away in Tutwiler, and Mayor Nichole Harris-Rosebud is cosponsoring the activity.
