A Tallahatchie County man has been indicted for allegedly wielding a knife to stab a local man, according to records made public last week at the circuit clerk’s office in Charleston.
Robert Earl Boclair, 56, of Charleston, was indicted April 16 by a Tallahatchie County grand jury for the 1st Judicial District on a charge of aggravated assault in connection with the Feb. 2 stabbing of Mountanous Dogan, court records show.
Boclair is just the latest recent indictment to be made public in the county’s 1st and 2nd judicial districts.
By law, a notice of indictment must be served on the defendant before the true bill can be made public. Six more remain unserved, officials say.
