A Tallahatchie County grand jury for the First Judicial District in Charleston convened Dec. 3 and returned indictments in a number of criminal cases.
Angelia Fillyaw, 49, address unavailable, was indicted for possession of meth in connection with a Nov. 29, 2018, incident. Since Fillyaw has two prior convictions for drug-related offenses, she is being handled as an habitual offender.
In the same case, Jere T. Smith, 58, of 107 N. Pleasant, Charleston, was indicted for possession of meth.
Other indictments will be reported as made public.
