Charleston drops decision at Clarksdale

CLARKSDALE — The Charleston High School Tigers lost a hard-fought 30-14 decision to the Clarksdale High School Wildcats here Friday night.
Clarksdale improved to 3-0 while Charleston fell to 1-1 on the young season.

WEBB — The West Tallahatchie High School Choctaws improved to 3-0 after slamming the Ruleville Edwards Tigers 44-22 here Friday night.
Edwards fell to 1-2.
For the first time in over two-and-a-half decades, the Choctaws have started consecutive seasons with three straight wins.

WEBB — The West Tallahatchie High School Choctaws are 2-0 at the start of back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2015-2016 campaigns.
West Tally improved to 2-0 last week after scoring a 28-18 victory over the West Bolivar Eagles at Rosedale.
