Gunfire erupts over Labor Day weekend; several shot during violence in Charleston

Three people reportedly were shot, and a fourth injured during a human stampede, when gunfire erupted in Charleston early Sunday.
As of Tuesday, there had been no arrests, according to Charleston Police Chief Kirby Griffin, who said investigators had no suspects and no leads in the case.

Tennyson submitted a Qualifying Statement of Intent and a petition of required signatures to the circuit clerk’s office in Charleston on Aug. 21.
