Finally, with the Sept. 9 qualifying deadline looming large, there has been a show of interest in two school board seats that will be on some Tallahatchie County ballots in November.
While no one has filed qualifying papers, Circuit Clerk Daphane Neal said Tuesday that “a few [people] have picked up the packet” featuring required forms.
