Willie D. Love, 52, of Charleston is being held on a bond of $50,000 after his arrest Saturday night for armed robbery of the Local Express convenience store.
Charleston Police Chief John Page said Love, who lives at 306 N. Sarah St., was taken into custody about one-and-a-half hours after the 6:30 p.m. holdup of the store.
