The contractor picking up limbs and other ice storm debris in Tallahatchie County is making only one pass along roads and highways.
“It’s one pass only picking up debris,” said Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors President and District 2 Supervisor Johnny Goodwin.

MBS seeks blood donors

A Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) mobile coach came to Charleston Friday.

Parked near the Tallahatchie General Hospital emergency room, the coach was present from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. to collect life-giving donations from hospital workers and other local residents.
