Festus, Ruth, Jane and Amanda Hailey visited Peggy Bailey at the nursing home in Charleston Saturday afternoon. Peggy was doing OK, they reported.
Daughter Donna Garripoli visited with us Sunday.
The beautiful decorated Christmas tree in the gazebo on the Square in Grenada was decorated by Tillatoba’s J.G. Henderson.
J.G. Henderson left out over the weekend for a fabulous week of showroom designing for the 2026 market season! We are so proud of you and pray for you a safe trip.
Martha Box said her journey through the God-created colors of fall is a beautiful one, noting, “Wow! Brings out the praises from this used to be artist wannabe!” Martha said she had lunch at Grenada Lake a couple of times this past week and had lunch at the Corner Friday, where she enjoyed fried catfish. She attended a “wonderful service” at Willow Springs Assembly of God yesterday. Martha said the message and songs were “Spirit-led,” and she loves all the precious hugs she gets and seeing her family and old friends. After a good nap Sunday afternoon, daughter Ginger dropped by and she and Martha shared their Sunday happenings.
Happy anniversary to Jason and Wendy Pettit, who celebrate their 8th on the 18th. Jason, get Wendy a beautiful personalized heart-shaped necklace that opens.
Happy 19th anniversary to Frank and Freda Weir. It says for the 19th anniversary to give something in brass. I think I heard Freda say she wanted brass knuckles, but Frank, you better not get that woman brass knuckles. Give her flowers in a brass vase.
Happy birthday to Ruby Smallwood on the 18th; to Chris Nail and Sherry Sykes on the 19th; to my firstborn granddaughter, Miranda Procella, as well as Mary Leigh Holland Freeman and Cliff McCain, on the 21st. I pray you all have a wonderful day celebrating!

Thought for the day: I don’t mean to brag, but I put a puzzle together in one day and the box said 2-4 years.
